My first post

     Under the advice of the author of peaceoutpink.blogspot.com, I decided to start my own blog. I know absolutely nothing about this, but she figured it might be a good outlet for my newfound and pending unemployment. Hopefully, she is right. All I can say is that birds are falling out of the sky. What better time to start a blog than the day that the birth pangs of the apocalypse set in? Seriously. I have been watching this bird thing more closely than anyone I know. It could be based on the fact that I have seven more working days left in a job that I checked out of months ago and I have nothing better to do than to research crazy nut-job websites about Revelations and bird deaths.  Or maybe I am closer to being a crazy nut-job than I lead myself to believe. I do know that if I were to mention the birds falling from the sky in Arkansas, Louisiana, and Kentucky to someone like my mother, she would say it was aliens. Maybe that's where I get it from.
